The Urban Tree project was designed by Israel’s award winning Geotectura studio. Founded by Joseph Cory, Geotectura merges landscapes and architecture with sustainability, cost reducing technologies, and environmental responsibility.
The Urban Tree contains greenhouse structures on floating cubes that keep a minimal footprint on the ground, branching out into huge areas of space above. The bio-climatic cubes vary in size and function. Each cube has several units with panoramic viewpoints and are designed to provide optimal air flow. The sustainable environment of this virtually self-sufficient project show a social responsibility that can be seen throughout Geotectura’s work. The concept improves quality of life and weaves nature and communities into one.
Geotectura once again demonstrates its dedication to sustainability, providing innovative, cost-efficient solutions for an improved living environment.
