I’m not sure how practical these would be or whether they would really be cost effective to produce but it’s a nice design nonetheless. The latest product design concept by Russian design studio art. lebedev deals with the digital and comes in the form of a disposable thumb drive called ‘flashkus’.
These drives are produced from cardboard, and come in sets of four, divided by perforations which make them easy to separate and use. The cardboard surface enables you to write your own labels directly onto the drives, indicating what is stored on each key. They will come in 4GB, 8GB or 16GB storage capacities.
Where can I get them? What do they cost? Are they around or is it just a buzz about an idea?’
